LOCATION: Smoky Mountain Elementary School

DIRECTIONS: From KNOXVILLE take I-40 East to exit 440. Then take Hwy. 321 South to the Cosby Post Office where highways 321 South and Hwy 32 will split. Continue straight on Hwy. 32 South. Smoky Mountain School is 300 yards on the right.

From GATLINBURG, turn at traffic light #3 onto Hwy 321 North. Follow Hwy. 321 North to the intersection of 321 North and Hwy. 32. Turn right onto Hwy. 32 South. Smoky Mountain School is 300 yards on the right.

From ASHEVILLE, take I-40 west to exit 443. Then take Foothills Parkway to Hwy. 321. Turn left on to Hwy. 321 and follow it to Cosby Post Office where 321 South and 32 South split. Continue on Hwy. 32 South. Smoky Mountain School is 300 yards on the right.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Course certification USATF #TN 03012 DJR A fast out and back course finishing on the walking track at Smoky Mountain School.

REGISTRATION/FEES: Runners may pre-register or sign up the morning of the race from 8:00-9:00 AM.
Pre-registration fee: $12 (postmarked by October 11, 2004). Day of race registration: $15.
Special sponsor contribution: $20.

AWARDS: To the race winner, to the next 3 male and female runners, first Masters (40+) male and female runners, and first Grand Masters (50+) male and female runners, and first Senior (60+) male and female runners. Other age awards three deep, male and female: x-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

T-SHIRTS: Pre-registered runners receive shirts on race day. Race day folks receive shirts as supplies last.

BENEFICIARY: COMMUNITY HOUSE COOPERATIVE (CHC), a community based non-profit organization working for a peaceful, equitable and sustainable Cocke County, Tennessee.
